POSITION SUMMARY
This is a skilled position requiring employee to oversee daily aggregate crushing plant operations and employees. This person should have a strong mechanical background and preferably have mining and crushing experience. This individual will be expected to fill in as an operator during peak production periods. Individual will have the following responsibilities:
- Will be a working supervisor for 1 or 2 employees. This will be shift work during production
- Scheduling of personnel
- Supervising crushing production
- Supervising the erection and dismantling of crushing plant
- Supervising maintenance
- Ordering materials, parts and supplies
- Training personnel including sight specific safety and task training
- Preparing daily production paperwork
- Ensuring quality of aggregates produced
- Comply with Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA) standards
- Comply with required local, state, and federal environmental regulations
This is a seasonal position working 2nd shift, May through November (weather permitting). This position requires working overtime. Local and regional travel opportunities are available.

Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to keep time and material records
- Detail oriented with the ability to listen while safely following protocols and procedures
- Ability to confer with public and customers on a regular basis
- Knowledge of aggregate sizes, classifications and weight requirements of loads leaving the pit
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance requirements
- Valid driver's license
