Field Service Technician Level 1 

Job Overview 
 
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles and machinery. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
Duties 
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment 
Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques. 
Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality. 
Utilize forklifts for moving heavy equipment and parts as necessary. 
Diagnose electrical components as needed for repairs. 
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. 
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. 
 
Qualifications 

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in equipment rental or similar environment. 
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. 
Experience with heavy lifting and the physical demands of the job. 
Familiarity with electrical systems and HVAC maintenance is a plus. 
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. 
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting abilities 
Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to mechanics are advantageous. 
Ability to be flexible in a fast-changing environment

10 hour shift

Alternating on call rotation
