Experienced roofers and helpers needed for busy roofing contractor in Ashland! Must be experienced in installation and repairs on all types of roofing. Must have valid VA Driver's License with clean driving record. We offer top pay up to $ 35.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience and knowledge of roofing manufacturers. This position requires a variety of skills as well as physical activity, and a successful candidate will also be emotionally flexible, willing to help others and able to perform physical duties in a variety of weather conditions. Responsibilities:

• Know the proper methods and safety procedures for handling materials.
• Use tools such as pry bars, hammers, power saws, generators, and lineman's belts to set up scaffolding and support rails.
• Apply roofing materials in accordance with standards that protect against fire and leaks.
• Work efficiently and complete work within deadlines.
• Be able to withstand the heat; know how to look for signs of heat stroke and know what to do if a co-worker has it.
• Have knowledge of structural issues that relate to roofs.
• Be in good physical shape.
