Ferguson Road Initiative (FRI) is seeking a Public Improvement District (PID) Manager to lead and support services that keep the Far East Dallas community safe, beautiful, and thriving. About the Role
The FEDPID Manager proactively coordinates day-to-day operations for the Public Improvement District, including safety initiatives, beautification, maintenance, vendor management, and community engagement. This role is a great fit for someone who likes variety in their work, part office, part field, and part community-facing.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate services such as Dallas Police Department Extended Neighborhood Patrols (ENP), crime and public safety initiatives, landscaping, litter abatement, and maintenance Represent the FEDPID at City Hall and with City of Dallas departments, ensuring the community’s needs and priorities are clearly communicated and supported Work with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely service delivery Communicate with residents and businesses about FEDPID services and improvements Monitor conditions in the field and respond to service needs Support reporting and documentation required by the City of Dallas Help strengthen neighborhood pride and quality of life in Far East Dallas
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in project management, operations, municipal services, or community programs
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to build relationships with the Dallas Police Department, residents, partners, and vendors
Comfort working both in the office and outdoors in the field
A commitment to community improvement and neighborhood vitality
