Mission Hospital, located in Asheville, North Carolina, is excited to welcome a seasoned/experienced Trauma Medical Director / acute care surgeon to our busy ACS Level 1 program.
Qualified Candidates:
Board certified in General Surgery
Board certified in Surgical Critical Care
ATLS certification
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Must have experience as Medical Director or Associate Medical Director in a Level I or II Trauma Center
Willingness to perform in hybrid role with minimum 40% administrative duties/responsibilities

Program Highlights:Team covers equal mix of trauma, surgical critical care and emergency general surgery
No 24-hour shift requirement; day shifts are 10.5 hours; nights are 13.5

Surgical residency offers opportunity to teachResident support on trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery services
APP support on trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery services
