Seeking a RN Trauma Program Coordinator who will assume 24-hour responsibility for the coordination of nursing care of trauma patients throughout the hospital. Responsible to assist the Trauma Medical Director with day-to-day administration of the Trauma Service and directs, plans, and facilitates total care of the trauma patient in collaboration with the trauma surgeon, sub-specialists, nursing and medical teams, and ancillary services. Must ensure that the trauma services for MHS are in constant compliance and state regulations appropriate for the level of trauma designation maintained in the various facilities.
Requirements
BSN required Minimum of three years of recent hospital nursing experience in Critical Care or Emergency nursing required Trauma Nursing Care Course, or Advanced Trauma Life Support Course, TNCC Instructor preferred Texas RN License & BLS required Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course or Pediatric Advanced Lifer Support
