The mission of Ignite Hope is to provide hope, compassion, and culturally competent, behavioral health services and support to individuals and families in the community.
Job Summary: Ignite Hope is seeking a compassionate and skilled Trauma Therapist (LPC/PLPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based therapy to clients experiencing trauma-related challenges, contributing to their journey of healing and growth. This role includes individual, group, and family therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment. Candidate must have a passion for serving the under-served and a desire to work with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide trauma-focused therapy to individuals, families, and groups. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Conduct assessments to determine client needs and recommend appropriate interventions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Stay current on best practices and advancements in trauma therapy through professional development and training. Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and supervision as needed.
Requirements
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC).
Skills and Attributes:
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with diverse populations and maintain a client-centered approach. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
