Job Purpose and Impact
The Plant Director will provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating processes for the Meat processing site in France. The site has around 250 people and is delivering high performance in the last years. In this role, will be accountable for standards aligned to safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance and deliver major capital projects.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and ensure all production and operating facilities operate safely and in compliance with regulatory and corporate safety and environmental programs standards and goals.
Oversee the execution of consistent and quality product while driving reliability centered manufacturing operations.
Update and execute the strategy of the site, management and compliance of capital and operating budgets and oversee the strategy of capital investment projects and spending.
Lead and own strategic implementation results of operational efficiency programs.
Champion a culture that builds, operates and maintains plants that are operationally sound, safe and efficient.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Develop successors and support development of resources that can support the growth of the business
Manage industrial relations within factory and lead negotiations on pay and conditions with unions in accordance with French law and Cargill policies.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Operational excellence knowledge
Budgeting and operations planning experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience
French speaker with minimum of 6 years of experience is France
Preferred Qualifications
6 years of supervisory experience
