The Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation (DOSR)- has a long-standing tradition of excellence in research and education. DOSR operates at four campus locations in the region including Angleton, League City, Clear Lake, and Galveston.
The Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly motivated, Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon with a strong interest in academic medicine to help meet the demands for Orthopedic care throughout our service area just south of Houston, Texas.The successful candidate(s) will join our group of established multi-subspecialty Orthopedic providers as we expand our clinical presence the region.All faculty physicians are expected to participate in the resident and fellowship educational training programs as well as pursue scholarly endeavors that promote the advancement of musculoskeletal care.Leadership opportunities are also available within the Department and the Institution.
Position Requirements:
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
Residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Fellowship Training in Orthopaedic Trauma.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Ability to obtain a valid unrestricted Texas state medical license.
