The EMT provides high-quality, compassionate, and efficient patient care during non-emergency and emergency medical transports. This role is responsible for assessing patients, providing basic life support (BLS), safely operating within established protocols, and ensuring accurate documentation of all care delivered.
Requirements
Current Maryland EMT certification (National Registry preferred).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid Maryland driver’s license with acceptable driving record (per company and insurance requirements).
Minimum of 1–2 years driving experience preferred; ambulance driving experience a plus.
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver patients and equipment weighing up to 125 lbs. unassisted, 250 lbs. with partner assistance.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in high-stress situations.
