Description
The Family Medicine Provider (MD/DO) position plays an imperative role in providing top-level comprehensive and critical primary healthcare and providing optimal treatment plans for all patients. As a key team member of qualified providers, the Family Medicine Provider (MD/DO) strives to efficiently and effectively navigate patient health concerns with acknowledgement and validation, actively listening and hearing what each patient is conveying. At the same time, the nurse practitioner works closely with and mentors support staff, such as their assigned medical assistant, to ensure this quality level of care. The Family Medicine Provider (MD/DO) serves as an active participant in supporting, exercising and adhering to Robinson Family Clinic’s vision, mission, core values, goals and objectives from an organizational standpoint; in addition to the Patient Bill of Rights and Patient-Provider Responsibilities from a provider, patient and medical care standpoint.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for holding the highest self-accountability in complete and comprehensive
clinical care and oversight of patients to include conducting thorough physical examinations;
documenting comprehensive medical histories; and ordering lab work and other necessary tests
Manage in-office emergency medical situations that arise with calm and clarity, reaching out for
assistance if and as needed
Act as the practice’s Clinical Manager when Dr. Jafri is not in the office
Responsible for leading, motivating and developing others by mentoring and teaching new
practitioners, as well as assist assigned medical assistants and other medical staff with learning
steps to enhance patient level of care
Train assigned medical assistants to your customized way of practicing medicine, for a smoother
and more efficient flow of patients

Requirements
Minimum of two years of clinic experience
Candidate must be Board-certified in Family Medicine with eligibility to license in Florida
DEA license required, but if you do not have one, we can help you obtain one
