Academic Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon
The Department of Orthopaedics in The MetroHealth System (MetroHealth) is seeking a board- eligible/board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in trauma. MetroHealth is a premier academic medical center affiliated with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). As a major teaching facility, MetroHealth serves as the most experienced Level I Adult Trauma Center for Northeastern Ohio and manages one of the busiest air transport services in the United States. The Orthopaedic residency and fellowship programs are integrated with Case Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Candidates must have completed or be in the process of completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma. Faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine will be commensurate upon experience. Commitment to an academic career and the pursuit of excellence in clinical care are expected.
