The Department of General Surgery at Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking highly trained Staff Surgeon candidates to join our growing Section of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. The Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Section practices at five Cleveland Clinic locations:  Akron General Hospital–Level 1 Trauma Center, Fairview Hospital–Level 2 Trauma Center, Hillcrest Hospital–Level 2 Trauma Center, Mercy Hospital–Level 2 Trauma Center, and Main Campus in downtown Cleveland.  This is an exciting opportunity as we will be starting a level I adult and pediatric trauma center at main campus in the beginning of 2028 and looking for surgeons excited to join our expanding team.

We are committed to growing a robust research portfolio and supporting faculty in their research and other academic endeavors. We are dedicated to the teaching of residents and students in patient care, quality, and research. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience will be with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.  Cleveland Clinic is committed to being a national leader in caring for injured patients and has established the Center for Trauma.
