Description

Westech Industries is looking for a qualified Aerial Lineman with CDL, in telecommunications construction to join our team as a full-time employee based out of our Galt location. Candidate must have knowledge of industry standard aerial cable installation procedures and techniques including the placement of poles and anchors, familiarity with a wide range of tools and equipment. Must have the ability to read and understand prints/maps, safety procedures and operating instruction expertise with aerial conditions. Joint pole work experience is required.

 Minimum of 3 years telecommunications experience working in all temperatures, climates and weather conditions. Various work will be out of a bucket and off hooks, so equipment operation and pole climbing is required.

 Work will require out of town travel (hotel and per diem paid), after normal business hours and on weekends, depending on customer needs and emergency response work.
