Description
A Unique Partnership Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established private surgery group with over 40 years in practice. Comprised of 11 surgeons and continuing to grow, the group is seeking its next partner to join a collegial, high-volume practice with flexibility to choose the practice model that best fits your career goals and lifestyle.
Practice Models:
Choose from three distinct practice models:
Option 1: Elective-Focused, No Call
Practice entirely between two community hospitals, Monday through Friday, with no night or weekend call. This model is approximately 70% endoscopy and 30% general surgery, with an all-elective volume and minimal ER involvement — typically no more than five consults per week.
Option 2: Elective-Focused with Weekend Call
Identical to Option 1, with the addition of 1-in-5 weekend call (Friday night through Monday morning), compensated with additional pay.
Option 3: Surgicalist/Elective Model
Practice as a Surgicalist as well as performing elective surgeries on a 10-week rotation — 3 weeks as Surgicalist and 7 weeks in-office/elective. Call runs just a little better than 1-in-3 nights, with 1-in-5 weekends. One surgeon covers weekdays, with two covering weekends. There is no trauma at any facility, and each site is supported by a Hospitalist service. Endoscopy responsibilities remain part of this model.
