We are seeking an experienced, board-certified (or residency-trained) Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our rapidly expanding integrated veterinary healthcare system in Puerto Rico. PRVet is an integrated veterinary community that combines:

• Small animal general practice
• Urgent care and emergency services
• Specialty oncology
• Collaborative multidisciplinary medicine

 Position Overview

We are looking for a collaborative and experienced internist who is passionate about:

• Advanced diagnostics and case management
• Building long-term referral relationships
• Mentorship and team collaboration
• Elevating specialty veterinary medicine in Puerto Rico

You will work alongside:

• Emergency and urgent care clinicians
• General practitioners
• Boarded Veterinary oncology specialist
• A growing specialty referral team

This position offers the opportunity to develop a strong referral caseload with significant growth potential in an underserved specialty market.

Requirements

Required:

• DACVIM (SAIM) board certification
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Puerto Rico
• Strong communication and leadership skills 
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate medicine

Preferred:

• 3+ years specialty practice experience
• Interest in practice development and mentorship
• Experience working in collaborative specialty settings
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish 

 Residency-trained candidates nearing board completion may also be considered.
