Hospitalist physician coverage in Kentucky with day shifts and no call, plus a dedicated admitter so you are not responsible for admissions.

Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospitalist service, adults only.
- Closed ICU, you may serve as attending for stable patients awaiting an ICU bed.
- Typical day census starts around 14 to 15 patients per hospitalist, high around 19.
- Team support includes 6 providers during the day, 3 NPs, and 2 MDs at night, with NPs seeing about 30% of patients.
Cases and Procedures
- Hospitalist work only, no procedures.
- No codes.
- No admissions, you will manage established inpatients and follow ups.
- Not expected to participate in rapid response.
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO.
- Internal Medicine board certified, board eligible within 5 years accepted per board eligibility requirements.
- Kentucky license required
- Drive-in candidates only
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required.
