Formosa Plastics Corporation, Louisiana, located in Baton Rouge, LA (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Project Engineer with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering and 2 years related work experience. Job duties include developing and implementing processes and procedures to optimize vinyl chloride monomer wastewater ethylene dichloride removal column operations to reduce the steam usage, developing and implementing processes and procedures to optimize vinyl chloride monomer ethylene dichloride reboiler distillation columns to lower energy consumption and improve operational safety, troubleshooting distillation column operating anomalies, developing and implementing processes and procedures to optimize AI-assisted radiographic testing and non-destructive inspection workflows to improve the real-time defect detection and structural integrity for critical piping and process equipment, developing and modifying programs for logic controllers, developing advanced process control, and troubleshooting electrical equipment failures and taking corrective actions.
