We are seeking an experienced, board-certified (or residency-trained) Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our rapidly expanding integrated veterinary healthcare system in Puerto Rico. PRVet is an integrated veterinary community that combines:

Position Overview
We are looking for a collaborative and experienced internist who is passionate about:
Advanced diagnostics and case management
Building long-term referral relationships
Mentorship and team collaboration
Elevating specialty veterinary medicine in Puerto Rico
You will work alongside:
Emergency and urgent care clinicians
General practitioners
Boarded Veterinary oncology specialist
A growing specialty referral team
This position offers the opportunity to develop a strong referral caseload with significant growth potential in an underserved specialty market.
Requirements
Required:
DACVIM (SAIM) board certification
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Puerto Rico
Strong communication and leadership skills
Commitment to high-quality, compassionate medicine
Preferred:
3+ years specialty practice experience
Interest in practice development and mentorship
Experience working in collaborative specialty settings
Bi-lingual English/Spanish
Residency-trained candidates nearing board completion may also be considered.
